Founded in 2022, Carte Son was born from the collaboration of Paschal, Thibaut, and Julien — three composers and sound professionals trained in Musical Informatics at the Institut de Musique et de Pédagogie (IMEP) in Namur.

With expertise spanning sound design, diverse composition techniques (from classical music to contemporary styles), and seamless integration into game engines, they combine their complementary skills to craft unique sonic identities tailored to each video game project.

Beyond their work at Carte Son, Paschal, Thibaut, and Julien also teach “Applied Sound Design for Video Games” in the Master in Video Games program at Haute École Albert Jacquard in Namur.
