ST’ART is a public investment fund that aims to achieve a return consistent with its activity as an investment company, while upholding its core purpose, which is to serve the general interest, by facilitating the emergence and development of the creative industries of Wallonia and Brussels in every way possible.

A variety of different services can be provided depending on the needs of the company and the nature of its investments.

The first mechanism is the granting of loans: ST’ART takes part in the financing of creative companies through loans. The amount and term of the loan are determined according to the repayment capacity. There are currently five types of business loan.

The second mechanism is its ability to buy shares: ST’ART joins forces with private investors in acquiring an interest in the capital of companies. However, ST’ART remains a minority shareholder in the company’s capital and makes sure that the total interest of the public sector does not exceed 50% of the capital.

Finally, its corporate purpose also allows it to provide guarantees.

The different types of service provided by ST’ART can be combined.
