Developed by Lifelong Games

Brukel is the first solo indie project by Belgian game designer and professor Bob De Schutter. It is narrated by his 92-year old grandmother Bie, and it tells the story behind the traumatic events she lived through as a teenage girl on the Belgian frontline during World War 2.

While the game relies on common walking simulator and horror game tropes to immerse its players in the world of young Bie, the combination of these mechanics with non-fiction oral history turns the game into an entirely different experience.
